WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior goalkeeper Julia Walsh has been named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for competition from Sept. 25 – Oct. 1. This is her second time this season being recognized with this honor.

Walsh posted her fourth consecutive shutout of the season in Saturday's game versus Bucknell. She recorded six huge saves on the outing to keep the Bison off the board. 

Senior Francesca Ciatto was also recognized by the Patriot League earning an honorable mention. Ciatto received a nod after helping lead the Crusaders backline to another clean sheet.

Holy Cross women's soccer (2-4-5, 0-1-3) returns to action Saturday, Oct. 7 when they host Lehigh for their senior day game at 2:00 p.m.
