BOSTON, Mass.— The Holy Cross men's track and field team competed at the River Hawk Invitational on Saturday. 

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• Junior Mike Mazzocca qualified for the 60m hurdle finals in his season debut. Additionally, he finished eighth in the high jump. 
• Senior Kyle VanDermark set a personal best in the mile with a New England qualifying time of 4:15.49. 
• Senior Jack Welch finished ninth in the 800m with a time of 1:55.54.
• Freshman Nyeoti Punni claimed a New England qualifying time of 22.43 in the 200m dash.
• The 4x400 relay consisting of senior Sean Flaherty, sophomore Andrew Van De Mark, junior Matthew Conway and sophomore Stephen Joseph recorded a season-best finish of 3:26.39.

NEXT UP:

• The Crusaders will return to action on Feb. 2 and 3 when they travel to Boston, Mass. to compete in the New England Indoor Championship.
