The Holy Cross men's basketball team hits the road this week, opening up a two-game swing with a contest at Lehigh on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 7:00 p.m. The game between the Crusaders and the Mountain Hawks will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.

Holy Cross enters the game with a mark of 3-1 in the Patriot League and an overall record of 6-11. The Crusaders won three of their last four games, defeating Bucknell (60-58), Navy (74-63) and Loyola (63-55), while falling to American (73-68 in overtime). Holy Cross currently leads the Patriot League in three-point field goal percentage defense (32.1 percent), while standing third in both steals (7.4 steals per game) and blocked shots (2.9 blocks per game).

Senior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 17.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.4 blocked shots per game, in addition to connecting on 51.1 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior guard Bo Montgomery has added 11.6 points, 3.9 boards and 2.8 assists per contest, while junior guard Joe Octave is putting up 10.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.

Lehigh currently stands 7-8 overall and 2-2 in the Patriot League. The Mountain Hawks have won their last two games, posting victories over Bucknell (72-64) and Navy (78-73). Senior guard Evan Taylor has led the team by averaging 14.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, while making 46.9 percent of his shots from three-point range. Sophomore guard Keith Higgins has put up 14.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest, with sophomore guard Tyler Whitney-Sidney adding 12.7 points, 5.0  boards, 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

Following the contest with the Mountain Hawks, Holy Cross will remain in the Lehigh Valley for a game at Lafayette on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 1:00 p.m.
