BABSON PARK, Mass. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Babson 7-0 in non-conference action at the Babson Tennis Courts. The Crusaders open the dual match portion of their season at 0-1, while the Beavers now stand 2-0 overall.

Babson began the day by winning all three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. The Beavers then went on to take all six of the singles matches in straight sets. The closest match of the day came at No. 3 singles, where senior Declan O'Flynn fell to Babson's Kian Yazdi 7-5, 6-3.

Holy Cross returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 18, when it plays host to Siena at 11:00 a.m.
