Holy Cross field hockey senior Sinead Walsh has been named to the Preseason All-Patriot League team, as voted on by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors and announced by the league Thursday.

The midfielder from Port Elizabeth, South Africa has started every game of her collegiate career. In the past three seasons, she has scored five goals and contributed assists on nine goals. During the 2021 season, she led the team in assists with five and tied to lead the team in points with 11 in total. Following the conclusion of the 2021 season, she earned First-Team All-Patriot League honors and was named to the NFHCA Division I All-Northeast Region first team.
