33 from men's track and field selected to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

The Holy Cross men's track and field team has named 33 athletes to the Winter-Spring Patriot League Academic Honor Roll as announced by the conference office on Monday, July 18.

Seniors Kane Breuer, Andrew Corbett, TJ Duggan, Sean Fitzpatrick, John Gnibus, Corey Kumamoto, Joseph Leland, Connor McNerney and Karter Seitz were all selected.

Liam Christman, Kyle Culley, Quentin Doggett, Brooks Jackson, Cameron Lloyd, Michael O'Brien, Thomas O'Connell, Kyle VanDermark, and Jack Welch were all selected to represent the junior class.

The sophomore class was represented by Rigoberto Alfonso, Josh Choi, Matthew Conway, Brendan Fay, Drew Madsen, Will McAlpine, Rory McLaughlin and Auggie Smith. Brendan Fay earned a perfect 4.0-GPA to top the class.

Freshmen and first-time selections Sam Baker, Aidan Bergin, John Blair, Brian Fennelly, Henry Oswald, Will Schimitsch and Kevin Yatsuhashi rounded out the Crusader selections with Schimitsch posting a 4.0-GPA.

A total of 275 men's track and field student-athletes were named to the list. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have earned a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester.
