Kate Ashley breaks school record at New England Outdoor Championship

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — The Holy Cross women's track and field team finished competition at the New England Outdoor Championship hosted by Bryant University.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Junior Kate Ashley placed third in the 400m dash in 56.13, a new school record.
Junior Eve Feuerbach took eighth place in the 1,500m with a time of 4:43.48.
In the 4x800m relay, senior Sophia Maynard, senior Grace Hoelscher, senior Gabby Harmon and senior Kelsey O'Hara secured fourth place in a time of 9:27.74.
In the 4x400m relay, freshman Molly O'Connor, senior Ashley Thomas, freshman Haley Murphy and junior Kate Ashley took sixth place with a time of 3:57.79.
