Kulis wins 60m hurdles, resets school record on day two of NEICAAA Championships

BOSTON- Senior Celia Kulis won gold in the 60m hurdles, highlighting day two for the Holy Cross women's track and field team at the 2026 NEICAAA Indoor Championships on Saturday, Mar. 7.

Kulis recorded a time of 8.49 in the finals, resetting her previous school record after running 8.61 in Friday's qualifying round. She finished the weekend with two gold medals after also winning the pentathlon on Friday.

As a team, the Crusaders finished seventh out of 22 competing schools with 43 total points.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Senior Giavanna Ciaravino finished fourth in the 60m dash with a final time of 7.67.
Sophomore Aluna Coogan-Coyne finished 12th in the mile with a time of 5:04.66.
Junior Angelina Lancey placed seventh in the 400m with a time of 58.58.
Sophomore Victoria McGowan finished eighth in the triple jump with a best mark of 11.21m.
Lancey also helped sophomore Danielle DiEsso, freshmen, Macie Salado, and Eliza Martin finish third in the 4x400m with a time of 3:53.44.

UP NEXT:

The Crusaders will open outdoor season on Friday, Mar. 27 at Bryant University, competing in the Black and Gold Invitational.
