PRINCETON, N.J. – The Holy Cross men's rowing team raced on the road for the third straight week, facing Columbia, Marist and Temple on Lake Carnegie.
In the varsity eight, No. 17 Columbia finished first in a time of 5:47.33, followed by No. 24 Marist (5:50.58), No. 20 Temple (5:51.36) and the 21st-ranked Crusaders (5:54.62).
Temple won the second varsity eight with a time of 6:00.8, with Columbia coming in second (6:05.82), Holy Cross placing third (6:11.58) and Marist finishing fourth (6:19.83).
The Crusaders earned a first-place finish in the third varsity eight (6:08.73), followed by Temple (6:09.73), Marist (6:16.02) and Columbia (6:25.99).
The order of finish in the varsity four was Temple A (6:45.01), Temple B (6:59.53) and Holy Cross (7:07.16).
The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, April 30, when they take part in the New England Championship on Lake Quinsigamond.
