Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athlete (2023)

2023-2024 (Senior):

• Competed in three fall races.
  • Helped the second varsity 8+ to a 12th-place finish at the Head of the Charles (10/21).
  • Placed second with the third varsity 8+ at the Wormtown Chase (10/28).
  • Competed with the third varsity 8+ at the Princeton Chase (11/5).
• Competed in four spring races.
  • Defeated MIT's second varsity 8+ at the Alumni Cup (3/30) with the third varsity 8+.
  • Placed fourth with the fourth varsity 8+ at the Occoquan Invitational (4/14).
  • Finished second with the fourth varsity 8+ in home invitational against no.13 Boston U., no. 22 Temple, Marist, and Hobart (4/20).
  • Competed with the fourth varsity 8+ at the Eastern Sprints (5/19).

2022-2023 (Junior):

• Competed in three fall events.
  • Placed first with the second varsity eight at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/29).
  • Helped the third varsity eight to eighth at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta (10/15) and 33rd at the Princeton Chase Regatta (11/6).
• Competed in eight spring races.
  • Finished second at the Alumni Cup (4/1) with the third varsity eight, and at the Temple Regatta (4/16) with the fourth varsity eight.
  • Helped the fourth varsity eight to a second-place finish at the New England Championship (5/6).

2021-2022 (Sophomore):

• Competed in all four fall events.
  • Helped the varsity eight to 2nd at the Snake Regatta (10/17), 7th at the Head of the Charles on the Charles (10/24), 1st at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/30).
  • Helped the second varsity eight to 29th at the Princeton Chase Regatta (11/7).
• Competed in seven spring races as a member of the second varsity eight.
  • Placed first at the Jesuit Invitational (3/26).
  • Placed second at New England Championships (4/30).

• Saw action in all five events on the season as a member of the second varsity eight.
• Part of the second varsity eight that finished 17th at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship.
• Helped the Crusaders to a 15th place team finish at the IRA National Championship, the best in program history.
• Fall portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.

• A graduate of the Bromfield School in Harvard, Mass.
• Competed for the Bromfield Acton-Boxborough rowing team.

• Majoring in Chemistry.
