Biography
2021-2022 (Senior):
- Competed in all four fall races.
- Helped the second varsity boat eight to 5th place at the Snake Regatta (10/17) and 29th at the Princeton Chase Regatta (11/7).Â
- Helped the first varsity eight to 7th at the Head of the Charles on the Charles (10/24) and first at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/30).
- Competed in seven spring races as a member of the second varsity eight.
- Placed first at the Jesuit Invitional (3/26).
- Placed second at New England Championships (4/30).
2020-2021 (Junior):
- Saw action in all five events on the season, rowing in the varsity eight three times and the second varsity eight twice.
- Part of the second varsity eight that finished 17th at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship.
- Helped the Crusaders to a 15th place team finish at the IRA National Championship, the best in program history.
- Fall portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.
2019-2020 (Sophomore):
- Competed in all three fall races.
- Spring portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.
2018-2019 (Freshman):
- Competed in six races in the third varsity eight boat.
BEFORE HOLY CROSS:
- Six-year member of the varsity crew under head coach Brian Martin at Loyola Academy.
- Placed third as part of the third varsity at Midwest Junior Rowing Championship as a junior.
- Graduated Cum Laude.Â
PERSONAL:
- Son of Richard and Mary Katherine Gorman.
- Has one brother (Hugh) and two sisters (Kathleen and Caroline).
- Majoring in Computer Science.
