Women’s lacrosse to face #6 Loyola

The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team will play its second straight home game when it takes on No. 6 Loyola (Md.) at Kuzniewski Field on Saturday, April 2, at 3:00 p.m.

Things to Know About the Crusaders (4-6, 1-2 PL):
• Holy Cross stands 4-6 so far this season with a 1-2 mark in Patriot League play. In their last game, the Crusaders defeated Boston University 19-12 for their first victory over the Terriers since 1996.
• Freshman Isabela Miller led the team with five goals and one assist during Wednesday's victory over Boston University. She previously scored a career-high six goals at Long Island, the most by a Holy Cross freshman in a single game since Laura Ryan had six goals against Bucknell on April 7, 2012. Miller now ranks third on the team in scoring this season with 23 points on 18 goals and five assists, while recording five multi-point games. 
• Through 10 games played this year, senior Jolie Creo leads the team in scoring with 51 points on 38 goals and 13 assists. Her average of 3.8 goals per game leads the Patriot League and ranks eighth in the nation. Creo totaled a season-best 10 points on six goals and four assists at Long Island, while posting a season-high seven goals and one assist against Brown. Over the course of her collegiate career, she has now recorded 119 goals and 39 assists for 158 points in 40 games played. Creo currently ranks seventh all-time at Holy Cross in points and eighth in goals scored.
• Senior Jordyn Arakelian currently stands second on the squad in scoring with 28 points on 10 goals and a team-best 18 assists. She has recorded at least one point in all 10 of the Crusaders' games this season, while tallying a career-best six points on three goals and three assists at Merrimack. Over the course of her collegiate career, Arakelian has posted 16 goals and 23 assists for 39 points in 24 games played.
• Arakelian and Creo are joined by seniors Lauren Cunning, Grace Flink and Margaret Mitchell as the Crusaders' captains this season.

Scouting the Greyhounds (9-1, 2-0 PL):
• Loyola stands 9-1 overall this season with a 2-0 mark in the Patriot League, and is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. After winning their first nine games of the year, the Greyhounds were defeated by No. 4 Syracuse 14-13 on Tuesday night.
• Senior Livy Rosenzweig has led the team in scoring with 42 points on 30 goals and 12 assists so far this year. Freshman Georgia Latch is also having a strong season with 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points.
• Senior Kaitlyn Larsson has started all 10 games in goal for the Greyhounds this season, posting a 9.20 goals against average with a .463 save percentage.

Series History:
• This will be the eighth meeting between Holy Cross and Loyola, with the Greyhounds leading all-time series 7-0.
• The schools last met on April 26, 2019, when Loyola posted an 18-3 victory in Worcester.
