WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's lacrosse program was recognized for academic excellence as a 2025 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, while five student-athletes were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
Senior
Lindsay Hult and senior
Sally Zinsner, junior
Kate Burns, junior
Phoebe Matuch and junior
Sophia Pyne were the five Crusaders selected to the Academic Honor Roll. Hult and Zinsner were both honored for the second straight year, becoming the 11th and 12th players in school history to win the award twice. In addition, Holy Cross' five total selections to the Academic Honor Roll tied for the fourth-most in program history.
To be named an Academic Honor Squad, a team must possess at least a 3.20 team grade point average for the year. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Holy Cross has been named an Academic Honor Squad the last nine times the award has been given out (there were no awards in 2020 due to COVID-19), and 11 times overall in program history.
