The Holy Cross men's basketball team opens a two-game road trip this weekend when it travels to Navy for a 12:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, Feb. 19. The game between the Crusaders and the Midshipmen will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.

Holy Cross has won five out of its last eight games, but is coming off a 78-65 setback against Boston University on Wednesday night. The Crusaders own a 6-8 record in Patriot League play and stand 8-18 overall. Holy Cross currently leads the conference in blocked shots (3.8 blocks per game) and ranks fourth in turnover margin (+0.1 turnovers per game).

Senior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 15.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, while hitting 71.7 percent of his foul shots. Freshman guard Kyrell Luc has also been playing well, with averages of 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.6 steals per contest. In addition, sophomore guard Bo Montgomery has averaged 8.4 points and 2.5 boards per game.

Navy currently has an overall record of 18-8 with an 11-4 mark in the Patriot League. The Midshipmen have won four straight and six of their last seven games, including a 55-46 victory at American on Wednesday. Senior guard John Carter has led the team by averaging 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game, while making 39.0 percent of his three-pointers. Senior guard Greg Summers has put up 9.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest, with junior forward Tyler Nelson adding 8.8 points and 4.6 boards per game.

After the contest with Navy, Holy Cross will head to Lafayette for a 7:00 p.m. game on Monday, Feb. 21.
