The Holy Cross men's basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday, Nov. 30, when it plays host to Harvard at 7:00 p.m. The contest between the Crusaders and the Crimson will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+, and the first 200 people in attendance on Wednesday night will receive a free stadium scarf.
Holy Cross is in the midst of a four-game homestand, and has a 2-1 mark at the Hart Center so far this season. The Crusaders stand 2-5 overall on the year, and are coming off a 95-61 victory over Colby-Sawyer on Sunday. Senior forward
Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 17.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.7 blocked shots and 1.3 steals per game and connecting on 50.5 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior guard
Bo Montgomery has added 13.7 points, 3.7 boards and 2.9 assists per contest, while freshman guard
Will Batchelder is putting up 11.1 points and 3.0 assists per game.
Harvard enters the game with an overall mark of 5-2 on the season. In their last game, the Crimson suffered a 68-60 setback at Fordham on Sunday. Senior forward Chris Ledlum leads the team by averaging 18.7 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest, while knocking down 58.6 percent of his shots from the floor. Junior guard Sam Silverstein has added 11.3 points and 4.7 boards per game, while freshman forward Chisom Okpara is chipping in with 9.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest.
The Crusaders hold a 45-29 advantage in the all-time series between the schools, but the Crimson have come out on top in each of the last three meetings.
Following the contest with Harvard, Holy Cross will remain at home to face Central Connecticut on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 6:00 p.m.
