Two women's indoor track & field records fall in dual meet victory at New Hampshire

DURHAM, N.H. – The Holy Cross women's indoor track and field team had two program records fall in a 93-88 victory at New Hampshire on Saturday.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Senior Jordyn Shubrick started the competition smashing the 27-year weight throw mark of 17.08 meters manufactured by Amy Sparrow on February 13, 1994 with a hurl of 17.10 meters.
Shubrick came in second in the shot put finals with a 12.10 meter toss.
Junior Obiamaka Igwenagu then set a new record in the triple jump leaping 11.90 meters. The previous record of 11.81 meters was set back on February 26, 2016, at the Patriot League indoor championship by then-junior Alexa Eldracher
Junior Kate Ashley brought home first in the 500-meter event at 1:19.21.
Junior Eve Feuerbach was the top finisher in the 3000-meter run by three seconds at 10:24.98.
In the high jump, freshman Allison Schneider easily took first by .05 meter at 1.62.
Freshman Ella Grey earned first in the hurdles at 8.53.
Finally, junior Annie Lineberger marked a 3.55 in the pole vault.
