CANTON, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's golf team opened its season at the Boston College Invitational on Monday, Sept. 20 and Tuesday, Sept. 21. The Crusaders placed 12th out of 15 teams at the event, hosted at the Blue Hill Country Club.
Sophomore Tate Hadges led the Crusaders over 54 holes, posting a score of 228 (+12) to finish in a tie for 22nd. Rookie Manuela Herrera had a strong showing in her collegiate debut, recording a score of 240 (+24) to tie for 48th. Sophomore Liz Garfield placed 58th with a 243 (+27).
