DELMAR, N.Y. – Senior
Kate Hong finished in 21st place as an individual, while the Holy Cross women's golf squad came in 10th as a team in the Great Dane Invitational at the Normanside Country Club.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
• Hong shot 75-82 to finish the weekend at 17-over par (157).
• Senior
Tess Breslin came in 26th, posting scores of 74-85 (159).
• Junior
Julianna Megan earned a 45th place finish, shooting 77-87 (164).
• Rounding out the field for the Crusaders were senior
Caleigh Noonan (57th / 169), senior
Lillian Bateman (61st / 171) and senior
Caroline Gola (62nd / 172).
• Kelly Wu of St. John's claimed the individual title at four-under par (136).
TEAM SCORES:
• Boston University won the team championship with a two-round total of 593 (33-over par).
• Holy Cross finished with a team total of 659.
UP NEXT:
• The Crusaders return to action when they take part in the Lady Dolphin Invitational at the Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y., from Oct. 20-21.
