ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Senior
Caleigh Noonan finished in 16th place as an individual, as the Holy Cross women's golf team came in sixth in the Navy Fall Invitational at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
• Noonan shot 78-77 to finish the weekend at 11-over par (155).
• Junior
Julianna Megan came in 23rd , posting scores of 82-74 (156).
• Senior
Tess Breslin earned a 37th place finish, shooting 78-81 (159).
• Rounding out the field for the Crusaders were senior
Phoebe Chamian (42nd / 160), sophomore
Sophia Cellura (63rd / 170) and senior
Caroline Gola (72nd / 178)
• Paris Fieldings of Howard claimed the individual title at one-under par (143).
TEAM SCORES:
• Stetson won the team championship with a two-round total of 597 (21-over par).
• Holy Cross finished with a total of 630.
UP NEXT:
• The Crusaders return to action when they take part in the Great Dane Invitational at the Normanside Country Club in Delmar, N.Y., from Oct. 12-13.
