NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Merrimack 7-0 in non-conference action at North Andover High School. The Crusaders fall to 0-4 on the season, while the Warriors improve to 3-5 overall.
Merrimack began the day by winning all three doubles matches to take the doubles point, then went on to sweep the singles matches. The closest match of the day came at No. 3 singles, where junior
Mikey Prokopis fell to the Warriors' Andre Singer 6-3, 6-4.
Holy Cross returns to action on Wednesday, April 7, when it plays host to Sacred Heart at 5:30 p.m.
