Field hockey to play at Colgate

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross field hockey team will travel to Colgate for a 2 p.m. matchup this Sunday, March 21.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Things to Know About the Crusaders (0-1):
  • Holy Cross started its season off with a hard-fought loss at home to Boston University.
  • The Terriers struck first early in the first quarter, but Kristen Weber and the Crusaders would back in the 13th minute with a goal of their own. Minke Koomen assisted on the play.
  • Another goal was not scored until there was just three minutes left in the game. BU's Rebecca Janes found the back of the goal for the winner.
  • Emma Skumurski got the start in goal and made four saves.
Things to Know About the Raiders (1-0):
  • Colgate started the year with a 2-1 victory over Bucknell, the program's first win over the Bison since 2007.
