WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Colgate 7-0 in its season opener at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. The Crusaders open the season at 0-1, while the Raiders improve to 2-2 overall.
Colgate won the doubles point, but not before Holy Cross came out on top in the No. 1 doubles match. Senior

William Kelleher, who was taking part in the first match of his collegiate career, posted a 6-4 victory over the Raiders' Rohan Gupta and Nick Potter. Colgate then went on to win each singles match.
Holy Cross returns to action on Friday, March 16, when it travels to Army West Point for a 9:00 a.m. match.
