Women’s basketball travels to Bryant

WORCESTER, Mass.— The Holy Cross women's basketball team will make the short trip down to Bryant on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. The game will stream live on NECFrontRow.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS (2-3, 0-0 PL):
  • Powered by senior Oluchi Ezemma's career-high 21 points, the Crusaders defeated Connecticut College, 79-36. Ezemma went 9-for-10 from the field and added on four rebounds to her career night in just 17 minutes of action.
  • As a team, the Crusaders grabbed 60 boards against the Camels, marking the first time Holy Cross has grabbed over 60 rebounds since Dec. 5, 1998 against Rider.
  • Ezemma and fellow senior Avery LaBarbera are each averaging double-digits in scoring with 13.0 and 12.8 points per game, respectively. The duo are also leading the Crusaders in rebounding, each averaging 5.8 boards per game.
  • Holy Cross is leading all Patriot League schools in offensive rebounding, averaging 13.8 offensive boards a game.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS (1-5, 0-0 NEC):
  • Bryant opened its season on a five-game losing streak, but recently grabbed its first win of the season against Fisher, 117-38. Against Fisher, the Bulldogs had six players score in double-digits, with Juliette Golden, leading the way with 20 points.
  • Alana Perkins is leading the Bulldogs on the season, averaging 13.7 points per game. Brooke Bjelko is the other player averaging double-digits with 12.0 points per game.
  • The Bulldogs are averaging 6.5 three-pointers made per game and are hitting from three at .358 clip.
LAST TIME THEY MET:
  • The Crusaders own an 11-3 advantage in the all-time series with Bryant. The series dates back to the 1976 season.
  • The two teams last met during the 2019-20 season, with Holy Cross winning, 87-75.
  • Then-sophomore LaBarbera led all players with 25 points and five assists.
