WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's rowing team had four boats take part in the Snake Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond. The Crusaders earned a pair of the first place finishes on the day, winning the collegiate single and the collegiate four. 

In the collegiate single, junior Josie Ascione claimed first place in a time of 19:54.478. Then in the collegiate four, Holy Cross had another first-place finish with a time of 18:40.454. 

The Crusaders also had a pair of boats take part in the collegiate eight. The varsity eight finished in eight place (17:05.664), while the second varsity eight came in 13th (18:42.987).

Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 23, when it takes part in the Head of the Charles.
