  • CSU Bakersfield (5-4) immediately tied the game up with three runs in the bottom of the first, including two off an error.
  • The Roadrunners took a 4-3 lead in the third after an RBI single from Tyler Jorgensen, and added another pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth to push their lead to 6-3.
  • A sacrifice fly in the sixth inning gave CSUB another run, but freshman left-handed pitcher Jake McOsker threw two scoreless innings to keep the Roadrunners off the board after that.
