AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2021: 

• Appeared in two games, with starts at second base and third base.
• Had an RBI against Lafayette (3/21).
• Spring schedule shortened due to COVID-19.

• Played in 11 games with six starts at second base.
• Notched first collegiate hit at South Carolina in a 1-for-2 day (2/15).
• Went 1-for-2 with a run scored against Old Dominion (2/23).
• Hit 1-for-3 with an RBI at UC Riverside (3/8).
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
• Season concluded on March 12 due to COVID-19.

• Played two varsity seasons of baseball at Torrey Pines under head coach and 12-year veteran MLB pitcher Kirk McCaskill.
• Two-time honoree on San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team.
• Helped lead team to Palomar League Championship in 2018 and Avocado West League Championship in 2019.
• Posted career .314 average with 90 hits, primarily playing shortstop.
• 2019 Perfect Game Preseason All-American California Region Honorable Mention.
• Perfect Game Preseason All-American Underclassmen Honorable Mention selection in 2017 and 2018.
• Competed for Trosky Redbirds under head coach Jon Lukens, winning 2018 USA Premier Firecracker Championship and qualifying for 2018 USA Baseball National Team Championships west quarterfinals.
• Member of National Honor Society and AP Scholar.
• Named to Principal’s Honor Court.

• Son of David Kruger and Jill Power-Kruger.
• Has one sister (Madison).
• Undeclared major, but plans to major in political science.
