L: Brenden Tuttle (0-1)
How it Happened:
- Bucknell again got out to an early lead, with a three-run second and another run in the top of the fourth.
- Trailing 4-0, Holy Cross began to chip away at the deficit in the bottom of the fifth. Freshman right fielder Ben Malgeri had a one-out single, followed by an RBI single from junior center fielder Austin Masel to score Gionis. Dudunakis was hit by a pitch to load the bases, and Blum walked in a run to make the score 4-2. Livingston followed with an RBI single to make the score 4-3.
- The Crusaders had a three-run sixth to take the lead for good. Rinaldi and Kale were issued back-to-back one-out walks, and Malgeri tied the game up with a single up the middle that scored Rinaldi. After Malgeri stole second, the Bison intentionally walked Masel for a double-play opportunity, but Dudunakis got hit by a pitch to give Holy Cross a 5-4 lead. Livingston then drew a bases-loaded walk to make the score 6-4.
