WORCESTER, Mass.Holy Cross will host Robert Morris for its final home series of the 2018-19 regular season. The Crusaders and Colonials will face off at 7:05 on Feb. 15 and 5:05 on Feb. 16. Five dollar tickets are available for both games with proof of Worcester residency.

 

Talking Points

• The Crusaders head into the weekend, having gone 3-1-1 in their last five games.

Johnny Coughlin continues to lead the Crusaders in points (7-12-19). Coughlin also ranks second in the Holy Cross record books in career goals among defensemen with 17.

Anthony Vincent has posted each of his 18 points in Atlantic Hockey action this season, ranking first on the team in assists with 15.

Michael Laffin has taken over as the team's leading goal scorer, scoring his eighth of the season and the 37th of his career on Saturday night.

• Three players are tied with 15 points and two players are tied with 14 points on the season.

Neil Robinson scored his fifth goal of the season as the game-winning tally on Feb. 9. Robinson now has two game-winners on the season.

Bryce Dolan recorded his first collegiate point on Feb. 8 with an assist. Every eligible skater has now tallied at least one point on the season.

• Eight players have posted double-digit points on the season.

• Of the Crusaders' top seven scorers, five are seniors.

• Four players share the lead in power play goals. Coughlin, Laffin, Spencer Trapp, and Peter Crinella have all recorded three goals on the power play.

• The Crusaders' defensive core has accounted for 56 of the team's 190 points thus far.

• As a group, the defense have recorded 21 goals and 35 assists, accounting for 29% of the team's points.

• Coughlin and Trapp lead the defense in points. Coughlin has recorded 19 points and Trapp has posted 15.

 

League Leaders

• In Atlantic Hockey games, Anthony Vincent ranks third in frehsmen scoring with 18 points. He also ranks seventh in assists in Atlantic Hockey games (15).

• Coughlin ranks fifth in defensmen scoring in league games (15 points).

 

Defensmen Milestones

• Trapp and Coughlin are climbing the all-time defensemen points lists at Holy Cross.

• Coughlin ranks second all-time in career goals for Holy Cross defensemen with 17 in his career. Coughlin ranks third on the all-time single-season goals list with seven.

• Trapp ranks fourth all-time among Holy Cross defensemen in career points with 64.

 

Diverse Scoring

• The Crusaders have seen 19 different goal scorers on the season.

• Every player in the Crusaders' lineup has tallied at least one point.

Scouting Robert Morris

• The Colonials come to Worcester with a 9-18-1 overall record and 8-13-1 in league action. Since Holy Cross' 2-0 victory on Dec. 8, Robert Morris has played to a 2-10-0 record.

• Alex Tonge leads the Colonials in goals and points with 12 goals and 24 points.

• Tonge also leads in power play goals with five. The Colonials hold a 16% success rate on the power play.

• On the penalty kill, Robert Morris has played to a 82.6% success rate.

• Francis Marotte has started all 28 games for Robert Morris. He holds a .900 save percentage and a 3.12 goals against average.
