The Holy Cross women's basketball team will play its home opener against Boston College on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex.
Wednesday's game will be televised on NESNplus; for viewers outside of New England, a broadcast will be available on the Patriot League Network. John Avino will be on the call with Anthony Mazzini on color. The contest can additionally be heard in the Worcester area on WEEI 1440 AM, with Alex Vispoli on play-by-play.
Things to Know About the Crusaders (0-1):
- Holy Cross comes off a tough 78-75 overtime loss to Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 9.
- Senior forward Lauren Manis dominated in that matchup, recording 22 points and 21 rebounds. Her rebound total broke the program's single-game record; it marked the second 20-point, 20-rebound game of her career, as she previously had 20 points and 20 rebounds against Navy on Feb. 7, 2018.
- Three others were in double-figure points for the Crusaders against Illinois: junior guard Jenay Faulkner (13, which matched a career high), sophomore guard Avery LaBarbera (13) and senior guard Madalyn Smith (12). Sophomore forward Oluchi Ezemma additionally had 11 rebounds.
- Holy Cross has won its last two home openers, a 71-61 result against Rider on Nov. 11, 2018 and a 59-57 overtime victory over Bryant on Nov. 26, 2017.

Things to Know About the Eagles (2-0):
- Boston College has posted commanding wins in its first two contests of the year, a 89-46 victory over UMass Lowell on Nov. 5 and a 106-69 final against St. Francis Brooklyn on Nov. 10.
- Wednesday's matchup will be the Eagles' first road game of the year. A year ago, Boston College went 4-6 on the road.
