BOSTON – The Holy Cross men's cross country team placed 14^th out of 25 teams at the New England Championship on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The Crusaders finished with a total of 332 points. Providence ran away with the overall team title, finishing with 42 points.

Results

TOP FIVE:

• Sophomore Karter Seitz was the top finisher for Holy Cross in 42^nd place, running an eight-kilometer time of 25:54.2.
• Sophomore Joseph Leland was 61^st, running a time of 26:09.4.
• Sophomore Andrew Corbett came in 71^st, clocking in at 26:23.3.
• Senior Bobby Tuzzio was close behind at 26:23.6, finishing in 72^nd.
• Freshman Liam Christman placed 86^th in a time of 26:35.9.

OTHER RESULTS:

• Senior Alex Campagna finished 110^th, running a time of 26:54.1.
• Sophomore Corey Kumamoto was 119^th in a time of 27:06.3.
• Senior Jackson Skelley led the Crusaders in the sub-varsity race, placing 32^nd in a time of 27:38.0.
• Junior Joe Doerr placed 35^th in a time of 27:43.1.
• Sophomore Kane Breuer ran a time of 27:46.5 to place 38^th.
• Freshman Gray Nichols placed 62^nd, running a time of 29:04.4.
• Freshman Michael O'Brien (30:06.8) and sophomore Connor McNerney (30:07.4) finished back-to-back in 75^th and 76^th place.

UP NEXT:

• The Crusaders will next compete at the Patriot League Championship on Nov. 2 in Hamilton, New York.
