WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior captain Liam Lyons has been named Patriot League Runner of the Week for competition between Aug. 25 – 31. 

Lyons was Holy Cross's top finisher at the Suffolk Short Course Classic on Saturday, Aug. 30. He finished first overall, his first collegiate win, crossing the finish at 15:15.09 on the five-kilometer course. Liam led the Crusaders to the team title (first out of 14 teams) with a total of 26 points.

The Holy Cross cross country teams will return on Saturday, Sept. 20, when they take part in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational in Dartmouth, Mass., at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course.
