Freshman Impact

  • Through five games, eight freshman have seen significant ice time.
  • Having scored five goals as a class, the freshman are responsible for 27% of the Crusaders' offense.
  • In the Crusaders' opening weekend against Canisius, Barry, Anthony Vincent, and Matt Slick earned their way onto the score sheet. Barry and Vincent tallied goals while Slick got his first collegiate point with an assist.
  • On the road, Erkka Vänskä and Will Conley recorded their first collegiate points. Vänskä scored on Oct. 19 and Conley assisted on the play.

Scouting #3 Providence

  • The Friars come to the Hart Center with a 4-1-1 record after most recently defeating Boston University, 5-0, on Oct. 26.
  • Against Atlantic Hockey opponents, the Friars tied Sacred Heart on Oct. 20, 2-2.

Last Time Against Providence

  • The Crusaders faced the Friars at the DCU Center on Oct. 15, 2016. The Friars took a short-lived third period lead, but the Crusaders ended on top thanks to a goal from Johnny Coughlin in overtime.
