WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross field hockey team lost to Boston University, 2-1, Friday night in Boston.
The Crusaders got on the board first when senior Emily Loprete scored her 12th of the year in the 6th minute on an unassisted strike off a Terrier turnover.
BU would strike back less than four minutes later to tie the game thanks to a score by Kara Enoch. The Terriers would score the game winner late in the second half when Ally Hammel scored off a corner in the 65th minute.
The Crusaders will finish up their season with a home matchup against Quinnipiac on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 12:00p.m. The team's seniors will be honored before the game.
