Final Results
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Junior Jackie Gonzalez earned medalist honors with a four-over par round of 75, but the Holy Cross women's golf team was defeated by Wellesley in a dual match at the Juniper Hill Golf Course. The Crusaders totaled 340 strokes on the day, while the Blue finished with a total of 317 strokes.
Junior Maddy Belden and sophomore Lauren Schonewolf tied for the second-best score on the team with rounds of 88. Freshman Mary Anne Wiley recorded an 89, while sophomore Emily Rodricks finished with a 92.
The Crusaders return to action when they take part in the Lehigh Invitational from Oct. 21-22 at the Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa.
