MELBOURNE, Fla. – Sophomore
Sophia Cellura finished in 64th place as an individual, as the Holy Cross women's golf squad came in 14th as a team in the Space Coast Classic at the Duran Golf Club.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
• Cellura shot 80-84-80 to finish the tournament at 28-over par (244).
• Senior
Tess Breslin came in 65th, posting scores of 83-79-83 (245).
• Sophomore
Sophie Quinones earned a 67th place finish, shooting 81-82-83 (246).
• Rounding out the field for the Crusaders were junior
Julianna Megan (71st / 247), senior
Caleigh Noonan (73rd / 249) and senior
Neve Thanner (77th / 270)
• Marta Aguilar of Seton Hall, Olivia Cong of Dartmouth and Zimo Li of Emory tied for first place as individuals at six-under par (210).
TEAM SCORES:
• Dartmouth won the team championship with a three-round total of 861 (three-under par).
• Holy Cross finished with a team total of 978.
UP NEXT:
• The Crusaders will return to action when they take part in the Northern Kentucky Spring Fling at the Sandridge Golf Club in Vero Beach, Fla., from March 13-15.
