WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Sophomore
Sophia Cellura claimed 46th place as an individual, to lead the Holy Cross women's golf squad to a 14th-place team finish in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate at the Kingsmill River Course.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
• Cellura shot 77-83-84 to finish the tournament at 28-over par (244).
• Senior
Caleigh Noonan came in 63rd, posting scores of 85-86-85 (256).
• Junior
Julianna Megan earned a 70th place finish, shooting 88-84-87 (259).
• Rounding out the field for the Crusaders were senior
Tess Breslin (77th / 262) and sophomore
Sophie Quinones (79th / 265).
• Sophie Thai of Dartmouth claimed first place as an individual at two-under par (214).
TEAM SCORES:
• Dartmouth won the team championship with a three-round total of 885 (21-over par).
• Holy Cross finished with a team total of 1,016.
UP NEXT:
• The Crusaders will return to action when they take part in the St. John's Invitational at St. Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., from April 6-7.
