The Lead: Junior Anthony Critelli (Holmdel, N.J.) led the Crusaders with two RBI, as they defeated Lesley 5-1 in their first game of Sunday's doubleheader.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Holy Cross took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, as junior Alex Voitik (Shorewood, Ill.) notched an RBI on a fielder's choice play to score classmate Bill Schlich (Massapequa, N.Y.).
- After Lesley answered with a run in the top of the third, Holy Cross added two runs in the bottom of the inning to make it 3-1 in its favor. Critelli hit a hard double to right center that brought home senior Nick Lovullo (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) and sophomore Cam O'Neill (Lynn, Mass.).
- The Crusaders added another run in the fourth with an RBI single from O'Neill, and capped off their scoring with an RBI single from senior Bobby Indeglia (North Kingston, R.I.) in the sixth.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Holy Cross outhit the Lynx 8-1.
- The Crusaders left seven runners on base, while Lesley left three.
- Sophomore pitcher Austin Cave (Southborough, Mass.) earned the win, allowing no runs on no hits through two innings. Senior Sean Gustin (Stoneham, Mass.) earned the save, allowing one run in two innings.
- Tom Muratore took the loss, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits through six innings.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Gustin's save was his eighth of the season, tying him for the third-most single-season saves in program history.

The Lead: O'Neill led the Crusaders with 3 RBI, as Holy Cross defeated Lesley 5-0 in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader at Hanover Insurance Park.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Holy Cross took a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning. Sophomore Thomas Russo (Weston, Mass.) notched an RBI single to left field that scored Critelli, and junior Josh Hassell (Tulsa, Okla.) brought home Schlich with a sacrifice fly.
- O'Neill brought home three runners in the seventh inning, as he hit a hard double to right center that cleared the bases for Holy Cross, making it 5-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Crusaders outhit Lesley 9-3.
- The Lynx left seven runners on base, while Holy Cross left five.
- Junior Joe Cravero (Hanover, N.H.) earned the win after allowing no runs and one hit through 2.1 innings.
- Nick Iadevaio took the loss, allowing two runs on seven hits through 5.1 innings.
