The Lead: The Crusaders hosted Rhode Island and Worcester State on Wednesday afternoon at the Hart Track and Turf Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Senior Kalif Raymond (Lawrenceville, Ga.) finished second in the 100 m dash, recording a time of 10.85, just 0.27 seconds off the Holy Cross record.
• In the 400 m dash, senior Lucas Keefer (Yonkers, N.Y.) placed third overall with a time of 50.09.
• Junior Michael Andre (Feeding Hills, Mass.) placed third in the 1500 m run, finishing at 4:03.18.
• Freshman Connor Hennessey (North Providence, R.I.) won the 5000 m run, recording a time of 16:27.08.
• The squad of Andre, junior Benjamin Ghiano (Iselin, N.J.), senior Matt Luizzi (Albany, N.Y.) and sophomore James Donohue (Bronxville, N.Y.) placed second in the 4x400 m relay in a time of 3:28.32.
• Senior Tim Dunn (Fords, N.J.) placed second in the pole vault, setting a height of 4.41 m.
• Freshman Alexander Escada (East Greenbush, N.Y.) placed second in the long jump, setting a distance of 6.23 m.
• Freshman Myles Connor (Peabody, Mass.) earned the second place finish in the javelin throw, marking a distance of 53.64.
