• The Lead: Junior guard Infiniti Thomas-Waheed led the Crusaders with 12 points, but Holy Cross fell to Quinnipiac by a score of 78-55 on Wednesday night in Worcester.

• Thomas-Waheed notched 12 points with eight rebounds and a pair of assists.
• Freshman forward Lauren Manis earned seven points with a game-high nine rebounds.
• Morgan Manz led the Bobcats with 16 points, three assists and three steals.
• Jen Fay scored 11 points while grabbing five rebounds and earning three steals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Bobcats jumped out to an early 9-4 lead in the opening minutes of the first half.
• Quinnipiac went 8-for-18 in the first quarter to lead Holy Cross 23-8 after one.
• Thomas-Waheed went 2-for-5 in the second quarter, but the Bobcats outscored Holy Cross 13-9 to take a 36-17 lead into the locker room.
• Holy Cross came out strong in the third quarter, cutting the Bobcats' lead at the midway point of the third, but Quinnipiac was able to regain control of the game and outscore Holy Cross 23-20.
• Junior guard Tricia Byrne and Thomas-Waheed were both 2-for-2 from the field in the third quarter.
• Freshman guard Kathryn Pedi led the Crusaders with six points on a pair of three points shots, but Holy Cross was unable to cut the deficit set by Quinnipiac.

• Pedi's six points were the first of her collegiate career.
