• The Lead: The Crusaders returned to action on Saturday as they competed at the annual John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Freshman Brandon Thornhill (Natick, Mass.) placed 38th in the 60 m hurdles with a time of 8.71, while junior William Raven (Newburyport, Mass.) placed 57th at 9.09.
• In the 800 m run, senior Francisco Tejidor (Coral Gables, Fla.) registered a time of 1:54.42 to finish 40th overall.
• In the 400 m dash, sophomore Nicholas Boire (Manchester, N.H.) came in 72nd overall with a time of 50.21, while freshman Ryan Clark (Glastonbury, Conn.) placed 87th at 50.69.
• In the one mile run, freshman Joseph Prunty (New York, N.Y.) came in 76th with a time of 4:22.44.
• Senior Lucas Keefer (Yonker, N.Y.) placed 14th overall in the 1000 m run with a time of 2:28.54, as junior Edward DeLuca (Weymouth, Mass.) came in 52nd at 2:37.66.
• Senior Tim Dunn (Fords, N.J.) earned a mark of 4.55 m to place 12th overall in the pole vault, while junior Michael Araujo (Southbridge, Mass.) placed 20th at 4.25 m.
• In the shot put, senior Mike Galantini (Jessup, Pa.) placed 40th overall with a mark of 13.10 m, while freshman Tom Chiappini (Reading, Mass.) came in at 47th at 12.61 m.
