• The Lead: Holy Cross senior Marisa Cameron (Garden City, N.Y.) carded a career-low 18-hole round of 75 (+3) to help lead the Crusaders to a dual match victory over Wellesley in women's golf action on Saturday at the par-72 Neihoiden Golf Club. The top four scores from each team were used in the dual match scoring, as the Crusaders combined to shoot a 337 (+49), while the Blue shot a collective 347 (+59).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• In addition to Cameron for Holy Cross, sophomore Maxine Harney (Medford, Mass.) shot an 18-hole score of 84 (+12), which tied for second place.
• Senior Lydia Deneen (Hubbardston, Mass.) and sophomore Maddy Glynn (Pittsford, N.Y.) both carded totals of 89 (+17), good for sixth place.
• Freshman Lexi Hummel-Paez (Albuquerque, N.M.) shot a 94 (+22) in her first career match, while junior Mackenzie Horl (Garden City, N.Y.) and sophomore Lindsay Sullivan (Worcester, Mass.) recorded scores of 103 (+31) and 105 (+33), respectively.
