• The Lead: Holy Cross senior Marisa Cameron (Garden City, N.Y.) shot a two-round total of 163 (+17) to tie for seventh place and help lead the Crusaders to a fourth place finish out of six teams at the Lady Penmen Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20. The Crusaders shot a team total of 679 strokes (+95), as Merrimack won the event with a total score of 622 (+38).

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Sophomore Maxine Harney (Medford, Mass.) tied for ninth place just one stroke behind Cameron at 164 strokes (+18).
• Crusader freshman Lexi Hummel-Paez (Albuquerque, N.M.) carded a 175 (+29), good for 20th place, while senior Lydia Deneen (Hubbardston, Mass.) finished in 21st with a 177 (+31).
• Sophomore Maddy Glynn (Pittsford, N.Y.) shot a two-round total of 182 (+36), which placed her in 23rd.

UP NEXT:

• Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26-27, when it will compete in the Mount Holyoke Invitational at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
