The Lead: Junior Kalif Raymond (Lawrenceville, Georgia) led the Crusaders with an overall second-place finish in the 100-meter dash final as the men's track and field team concluded action at the New England Outdoor Championship this weekend. Raymond finished with a season-best time of 10.71 seconds. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Senior co-captain Trevor Dutton (Burlington, Mass.) and juniors Francisco Tejidor (Coral Gables, Fla.) and Lucas Keefer (Yonkers, N.Y.) represented Holy Cross in the 800-meter run. Dutton finished in 19th with a time of 1:53.30, while Tejidor followed Dutton in 25th (1:53.86) and Keefer in 28th (1:55.41). 
• The 4x100-meter relay team comprised of Raymond, junior Dominic Abacherli (Boxborough, Mass.) and seniors Mike Techiera (Foxborough, Mass.) and Vuong Tran (Worcester, Mass.) finished seventh with a time of 42.63. 
• The 4x400-meter relay team of Abacherli, freshmen Nicholas Boire (Manchester, N.H.) and James Donohue (Bronxville, N.Y.) and sophomore William Ward (North Attleboro, Mass.) crossed the finish line in 19th at 3:23.42. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

•  Rhode Island won the team competition with an overall score of 104.50. 

UP NEXT 

•  Qualifying members of the men's track and field team will return to action at the IC4A Outdoor Championship on Friday-Sunday, May 16-18 in Princeton, N.J.
