• The Lead: The Holy Cross women's golf team finished in fifth place out of six teams at the Williams Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26 at the Par-71 Taconic Country Club in Williamstown, Mass. The Crusaders came in with a combined team score of 746 strokes (+178), as Williams won the event with a team total of 618 strokes (+50).

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Holy Cross was led by freshman Maxine Harney (Medford, Mass.) who finished in 20th place with a two-day total of 173 (+31). Junior Lydia Deneen (Hubbardston, Mass.) carded a two-round sum of 184 (+42), which placed her in 24th.
• Crusader senior Meaghan Sullivan (Brockton, Mass.) and freshman Maddy Glynn (Pittsford, N.Y.) came in 25th and 27th, respectively, with scores of 191 (+49) and 198 (+56).
