The Lead: Four Crusaders, including senior co-captains Mike Galasso (Danvers, Mass.) and Trevor Dutton (Burlington, Mass.) and sophomores Benjamin Ghiano (Iselin, N.J.) and Michael Andre (Feeding Hills, Mass.), registered new career-high numbers in their respective events as the Holy Cross men's track and field team competed at the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

•  In the 60 meter hurdles, sophomore William Raven (Newburyport, Mass.) registered a time of 9.10 and placed 52nd. 
•  Dutton clocked a 1:53.31 and 17th place finish in the 800 meter run, recording a new career-high in the event. 
•  Seniors Vuong Tran (Worcester, Mass.) and Jereme Murray (State College, Pa.) had the top Crusaders finishes in the 60 meter dash, placing 41st (7.16) and 80th (7.42). 
• In the 400 meter dash, freshman Nicholas Boire (Manchester, N.H.) clocked a time of 50.89 seconds and placed 84th. 
• Two Crusaders set career-high times in the 500 meter dash from Galasso and Ghiano. Galasso registered a time of 1:04.71 and 11th place finish as Ghiano recorded a time of 1:07.61 and placed 43rd. Keefer followed Galasso in 18th at 1:05.01. 
• Junior Francisco Tejidor (Coral Gables, Fla.) finished 24th in the 1,000 meter run at 2:29.41 as Andre recorded a new career-high, placing 29th with a time of 2:30.60. 
• In the field events, Murray finished in 33rd at 5.92 meters in the long jump with sophomore Fletcher Bonin (Portsmouth, R.I.) following in 36th as he cleared a distance of 5.84 meters. 
• Junior Tim Dunn (Fords, N.J.) recorded a height of 4.40 meters in the pole vault, finishing 14th as senior co-captain Sean Carey (Newburyport, Mass.) threw 15.89 meters in the weight throw and Bonin registering a height of 12.34 meters in the triple jump. 

UP NEXT 

• The Crusaders return to the track on Saturday, Feb. 7 as part of the team will compete in the Scarlet & White Invitational while the other half travels to Maine for a dual meet.
