WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore Bridget Schirripa (Lexington, Mass.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 24-30. Schirripa was a key part of the Holy Cross women's rowing team's success at the Head of the Schuylkill last weekend.

At the Head of the Schuylkill, Schirripa was the stroke for the Holy Cross A Boat in the club eight race, as the Crusaders finished in third place out of 16 teams in a time of 15:17.50. The Crusaders fought through deteriorating conditions which included heavy rain, sleet, snow and wind.

Holy Cross returns to action next Saturday, Nov. 5, when it takes part in the Green Monster Regatta in Hanover, N.H.
