Bobby Tuzzio, a team captain for the men’s cross country and track and field teams, has been a leader for the Crusaders during his standout four-year career.
His senior season of cross country was his strongest yet, as he ran PRs in the 5K (16:07.5), 8K (25:45.0) and 10K (32:48.9). Tuzzio’s track personal bests include 8:47.06 in the 3,000 meters, 4:25.21 in the mile, 4:06.50 in the 1,500 meters and 15:09.42 in the 5,000 meters.
As a sophomore, Tuzzio placed eighth in the 10,000 meters at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship in a personal-best time of 32:27.62.
Tuzzio (Spring Lake, N.J.) has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll multiple times in his career, and earned a degree in political science from Holy Cross.
