Allie Smiley, a two-time Patriot League champion and the owner of three school records, has had a standout career for the Holy Cross track and field team.
Most recently, Smiley won the long jump at the 2020 Patriot League indoor championship, after previously winning the event in at the 2019 outdoor championship, hosted by Holy Cross last May. On her home track at that same 2019 championship, Smiley ran the second leg of the 4x100 meter relay that went on to break the school record in the event, clocking in at 46.43 seconds to place second.
Smiley broke her own indoor school record in the long jump at the final meet of her Holy Cross career, with her leap of 5.90 meters giving her a second-place finish at the ECAC Championship. Her outdoor record of 6.03 meters in the long jump, set during her sophomore season, still stands today.
Smiley (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll multiple times in her career. She graduates Holy Cross with a degree in psychology.
