Taylor Gensler has been a hard worker and strong competitor for the Holy Cross women’s track and field team during her four years on The Hill.
Despite battling injuries in her career, Gensler has had several highlight performances for the Crusaders, including a ninth-place finish in the triple jump as a junior at the 2019 Patriot League Indoor Championship. Also in her junior year, during outdoor season, she ran a personal best of 14.90 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic.
Her other personal bests include 9.15 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles, 11.35 meters in the triple jump and 5.38 meters in the long jump.
Gensler (Blue Point, N.Y.) will graduate from Holy Cross with a degree in political science, and has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. She has taken on several community service initiatives, including the Crusaders’ work in support of MS research.
