Junior Jack Stockfish of the Holy Cross men’s ice hockey team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition from March 2-8.
 
Stockfish finished the Crusaders' Quarterfinal matchup with RIT last weekend with four points on two goals and two assists, and 19 faceoff wins.

In Friday night's 2-1 overtime win, Stockfish assisted on junior Will Elias' overtime game-winning goal halfway through the extra frame. Stockfish shined in Saturday's 5-4 overtime series winning game, assisting on senior Devin Phillips' opening power play score in the second period, before netting a goal of his own with nine seconds remaining in the second period to give Holy Cross the 3-1 lead. Four minutes into the overtime period, Stockfish sent the Crusaders to the Semifinals with a wrist shot that sailed past the RIT netminder.

Holy Cross returns to action for the Atlantic Hockey Semifinal Round at Bentley on Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m. and, if necessary, March 15 at 6 p.m.
